About the Event
On June 10, CiW participates in #ShutDownSTEMM, #ShutDownAcademia, and #Strike4BlackLives. Find out information about these movements here and here. As part of this, we want to take time to learn more about racism in society and academia. We will host a discussion, centered around this article. We will also spend some time reflecting on what we can do to support Black Lives and to be antiracist within academia both as individuals and as a group.
